Wood Ear's name is derived from an essential mushroom of Asian cuisine. The namesake of the Restaurants is a nod to the faraway culture whose fusion with Texas fare aims to satisfy a diverse range of palates and occasions. Wood Ear general manager Matthew Arnold and chef Kevin Bush long wanted to open a ramen shop, but being from Texas, it was imperative they integrate the flavor of their native state.

High Camp Warming Hut

Big Billie’s

Family-friendly Big Billie’s is the perfect place for a quick lunch or snack, serving hot food from 11am to 3pm. You can find them in the Meadows at the bottom of the Sunshine Express (Lift 10) and the Chondola. Delicious hot soups and chilis are ready to warm you up, freshly-made deli sandwiches, burgers and dogs, chicken fingers, pulled pork, grilled chicken and signature sandwiches. Of course, their delicious hot chocolate and freshly brewed coffee will restore you for another run on the mountain. “Billie’s” features a full array of beverages, including wine and beer, chips, snacks of all kinds, candy, cookies, brownies and an open-air patio.

221 South Oak

For years, 221 South Oak has been renowned for its intimate atmosphere, incredible food, extensive wine list, friendly service and uncompromised quality. Chef and owner Eliza Gavin serves cuisine classified as New American with an eclectic blend of flavors and styles. A mélange of seafood, game and poultry with accompaniments that include deep South, Calypso, classical French, Californian and Creole. In addition to nightly dinner service, 221 offers a Sunday brunch.

Allred’s Restaurant

Elegant rustic ambiance creates a unique dining experience at 10,551 feet above sea level! Renowned for its culinary excellence and extraordinary service, Allred's offers guests an award-winning Wine List, with an emphasis on exceptional wines from around the world. Allred's is operating with a prix fixe menu that mixes local and regional as well as organic and original. Alpinist and the Goat

Brown Dog Pizza is known for their Detroit-style pizza, and offers a great selection of subs, salads and pastas. Cosmopolitan Restaurant

Once a grand saloon in the thriving mining camp of Telluride, the Cosmopolitan is now home to the fresh and innovative creations of Chef Chad Scothorn. Last Dollar Saloon

The Last Dollar Saloon, known affectionately for over three decades by Telluriders as "The Buck," is the local hangout. Ice-cold brews are the beverage of choice, and the taps flow freely late into the night, especially during peak ski season. Don't expect much in the way of snappy decor or hackneyed themes because this bar keeps its simple. You'll find a dart board, digital juke box and a couple of video games. To make up for the lack of swanky decor, they serve pitchers—that's right, pitchers!—of beer. Tables up front provide excellent views of Main Street, making for great people watching.

O’Bannon’s Irish Pub

O'Bannons Irish Pub is a locally owned and operated Irish Pub in Telluride. They have eight icy cold beers on draft, a variety of domestic and imported bottles and all of your favorite spirits on the shelves. They offer games, such as Big Buck Hunter, Galaga, and Pinball. They also have two pool tables and foosball!

Since 1991, Telluride Coffee Roasters have been serving up some of the best coffee in the area. Telluride Coffee Roasters began life as the Steaming Bean coffee house on Main Street back in 1992, and is now a full fledged sourcing and wholesale/retail coffee roasting operation. While you can still grab a cup o' joe at their Lawson Hill Location, you're more likely to see their coffee being served up at supermarkets, coffee shops, and restaurants around the area. The coolest part? All of their coffee is roasted up in-house.
