Bright Futures for Early Childhood and Families

Bright Futures envisions a future where all children are provided the tools to grow and develop, both in school and outside the classroom. Bright Futures seeks to increase the quality, affordability and availability of services for children and families. We strongly value community engagement and collaboration.

Pinhead Institute

The Pinhead Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and Smithsonian Affiliate (the first in the state) based in Telluride, Colorado, offering after-school programs and summer camps. Started in 2002 by a local Telluride mother who saw a need for supplemental science education in our community, today they are the only organization to promote and provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education throughout rural Southwest Colorado in San Miguel, Ouray, Montrose, and Montezuma Counties.

Telluride Elementary School

The Telluride Elementary School develops the unique potential of the whole child through challenging experiences that build self-esteem and skills for lifelong learning.

Telluride Elks Lodge #692 – Swede-Finn Hall

The Elks Lodge is located in the historic Swede-Finn Hall on the corner of Townsend and Pacific. The building features a large hall with a stage and bar, a catering kitchen, and an ourdoor deck.

Telluride Middle-High School

Telluride Mountain School

Telluride Mountain School is a highly rated, private school located in TELLURIDE, CO. It has 125 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 8 to 1.

Telluride Science & Innovation Center

Telluride Science advances knowledge and discovery for the benefit of all by enabling leading scientists from around the world to convene workshops and summer schools in an inspirational setting. Scientists select the topics, design the program, and invite participants to meetings that stimulate collaborations, catalyze breakthroughs, and identify new questions.

The Alpine Chapel

Nestled in a box canyon and surrounded by the majestic San Juan Mountains, the Alpine Chapel has been serving the spiritual needs of local and visiting Christians since 1987. The Alpine Chapel and Alpine Resort Ministries endeavor to help people enjoy the beautiful world that God has created, and enable local Christians to minister to their community with wholesome and family centered activities. Their dream is to touch the world for Christ by ministering to the visitors of this state, who, in turn, carry the love for Christ back to their home state or country. Their ministry strives to share the Gospel of Jesus through effective outreach programs.

Wilkinson Public Library

The Wilkinson Public Library is open seven days a week to bring you books, media, computer access, Wi-Fi, and children's and adult programs. The Wilkinson Public library also hosts events and presentations year-round.
