The Sunshine Store offers prescription pickups, health and wellness products, beer, coffee, snacks and grab-and-go food options. Since opening, they have had an eye on efficiency, and a few of those measures include smart outlets to monitor and curtail unnecessary energy use of power-hungry appliances, a smart programmable thermostat, and occupancy sensors. Although they encourage reusable containers, the Sunshine Store offers single-use containers that are best suited to our region’s challenging recycling and compost realities.
Sunshine recently opened a deli serving made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, sub sandwiches and soft-serve ice cream with toppings and will soon be offering soups, salads, cold-pressed juices and smoothies.
